I think there is more to this question than immediately meets the eye.
The question of firing order relates to the issue of finding a suitable tach for our thumpers and was discussed a couple of years back without resolution. The question then and now remains - does the spark plug fire on every engine revolution in a 1-1-1-1- scenario or does it fire on every second revolution 1-0-1-0-1-0
I do not remember this being resolved a couple of years ago.
